Ah. On most campuses–including mine–it’s over. Or at least we change gears now.
Students have graduated and (most of) the rest have gone home.
But that doesn’t mean it’s “Summertime…and the livin’ is easy.” For many of us, maybe the most important work we do all year happens NOW.
In August-September, it’s all about execution. But you can’t execute what you haven’t planned. If August-September is about landing the plane, right now is about flying high to get a bigger picture perspective.
What I mean is that you HAVE to take a 30,000 feet look at your ministry. We always do a SWOT analysis and some other things to set the stage for our summer and next Fall. It’s such a crucial thing to do, especially this time of year! If you’re going to make big changes in your ministry, THIS is the time to make them!
I’ve been working on some things to help people in collegiate ministry take their ministry to the next level. I’m preparing to roll out something pretty soon that I’m excited about. It’s something that people have been urging me to do for years. But before I do, I could really use your help. Would you mind taking this SHORT (30 second) survey? I’m trying to find out what you (people in college ministry) believe is the #1 thing holding you back.
After gathering the results, I’ll share them with you!
